Why I Started Purpose to Play
Sports were a huge part of my life.
Softball eventually gave me the opportunity to become a collegiate athlete, earn a full-ride scholarship, win championships, and experience some incredible moments.
But it also taught me what happens when the game doesn't go your way. There are bad outings. Slumps. Losses. Pressure. Days when you question yourself and moments when the sport you love suddenly feels much bigger than it should.
Through all of it, my faith and my family kept me grounded. They reminded me that softball was something I did — it wasn't who I was.
That's the idea behind Purpose to Play. I wanted to create something simple that young athletes could wear every day and look down at before a big moment, after a tough play, or during an ordinary practice and remember:
Faith first. Family always. Then the game.
Because sports can take you incredible places. But your purpose has always been bigger than the game.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
